Technically, it's not my car since my mom is making the payments (but I will be kicking $50 a month), but I'll still be driving it. It's a black 2010 Hyundai Elantra. The Hyundai dealership had mailed us a letter saying that they were looking for pre-owned Hyundais to trade in on brand new cars because the dealership is having a hard time selling new cars to people (bad economy), so they need more pre-owned cars to sell. We had a 2007 white Hyundai Accent. It was a perfectly good car, only two years old. True, it didn't have powerlocks or windows and it did have some trouble with hills with its 4 cylinder engine, but we were very happy with it. We went into the dealership just to see what kind of deal we would actually get, thinking we would go in and find out there really wasn't any kind of "deal", and leave right away with our '07 Accent. We were actually there for 3 1/2 hours and left with a black 2010 Elantra instead of a white 2007 Accent. Hahaha, isn't that crazy? We did get a pretty good deal, too, I think. We didn't have to put any money down (even though they really haggled with us and tried to get some out of us, even though we literally didn't have a dime to give them!) and the payments are only about $116 more a month. $116 more a month for powerlocks and windows, cruise control, a sunroof, 3 free months of Satellite XM Radio, a more powerful 4 cylinder engine, a roomier interior and trunk, BRAND NEW 2010 model just off of the truck with only 16 miles on it! I would say that is definitely worth $116 more a month. I'm so excited!
